THE ANTIGUAN enjoys the distinction of being the first comprehensive guide to the twin island nation of Antigua & Barbuda. Originally published in 1990 with just 78 pages, it has now expanded and is readily available on-island and on-line, as well as from Antigua & Barbuda Tourist Offices around the world.
The team behind the guide is headed by Antiguan-born Kelly Scales who has developed the distribution and content of the publication, whilst maintaining its convenient ‘pocket’ size. Ably supporting her is Sarah Scott who has lived in Antigua for the past 25 years and who displays plenty of editorial flair alongside her extensive sales experience. Creative Director Jackie Loxham has worked on major design projects throughout the United Kingdom, USA and Caribbean.
For twenty years THE ANTIGUAN has been one of The Ministry of Tourism’s most important marketing tools. Published in October and launched every year at World Travel Market in London, it is distributed well in advance of Antigua’s peak holiday season between December and April. It not only encourages new visitors to the islands’ shores, but also keeps them well informed whilst they are here. |
